So spill it! Your favorite genres, some of you favorite bands, music you hate.... discuss it all here in this thread!
I listen to all lot of punk, some psychobilly, jpop, and of course, video game music. Some of my favorte bands include The Eyeliners, F-minus, Tsunami Bomb, Rancid, Demented are Go.... I have tons.
music I hate...? Well, I really only hate rap, or those whiny bands whos vast majority of fans consist of girls who only listen to them because "ZOMG HEZ SO SEXYYY!!!!11111"

My favourite genre is comtempory rock and I like a bit of metal as well. Oh and I obviously like game music. My favourite artists are Plumb, Lacuna Coil, Vanessa Carlton (yes I know she's neither) and the Black Mages (of course). I hate pure pop and boy bands, rap, techo and RnB (which isn't really what it's meant to be).

Plumb does contempory rock but the sound kinda varies, er, the most famost song is probably God-Shaped hole which is on the Bruce Almighty Soundtrack >.< I listen to quite a few obscure artists.

I like everything except country and rap... my biggest problem though is knowing bands. I will recognize songs I know.. by well what they sound like. But I simply can't remember bands for the life of me So I listen mainly to anime and video game music.

sorry >< Umm.. I meant your like her because you'll hear a song that you know, but then you don't know who it's by :3 This is always asking me "Hey, who's this again???"
The Slits, Vice Squad, and Demented are Go are all from England :3 I would love to move to England someday... in one those citities with medieval architecture. If you walk down a street here where I live, here in Los Angeles, The oldest thing that you'll see would have to be at the most 100 and something years old... but in sompace like England you walk down the street and can see things 500 years old!
Sorry, went a little off topic there, lol.

I can see out my bedroom window a Cathdral that was built around 1066. I life in a small, obscure backwater city called Lincoln. Yeah it's got loads of architecture but only like one cinema, one theatre and most important of all only two games stores! Believe me you don't want to move to England, it's boring unless you move to London, Lol.

I would love to live in a small city, I grew up living here, in Los Angeles, CA.... I know it would be a little akward at first, but I'd really like to live in a place like that. And I have a fascination with the Medieval period.... so seeing a cathedral that was built in 1066 would be the best thing in the world for me ><

Well it was built around them. It's called Lincoln Cathedral so if you go on a search engine or something you can see pics of it. Across the square from it is a Castle was well that was built around that time. I had to study it for my Coursework so it bores me >.< Yeah but still, ONLY TWO GAMES STORES!

I said i liked the same stuff as R, but I was wrong. I just ralized it now. I hate most of the bands she litsens to, and i like way more j-pop than her. My favorite j-pop band is puffy amiyumi (whitch is also my top favorite). I got my user name on dA (Thunder-Bunny) Because that is Ami oniuki's Mascot. :3

I like more... but that's who I mainly listen too.
Okay you like about 40% of the same bands that I like so hush your mouth.
A castle!? I love mideivel castels.... But the big city is so... noisy.... but there are a lot of cool stores.

Yeah, where I live is fairly quiet for a City, it's only a little one. There's a lack of shops in general. With the games stores, one's expensive and one mainly sells pre-owned games. It's annoying. And with there only being one cinema if they decide not to show something you have to get on a train or something to go see it. When the Yu-Gi-Oh movie came out (I used to like it) I couldn't see it because the cinema in Lincoln wouldn't show it because they said it wasn't profitable >.<

"Wasn't profitable" haha! sorry, I just had to laugh a little bit at that one:P There are some downsides to living in a big city like mine.... I have to take a 20 minute bus ride to school every morning and most of the time after school.. and afterschool the ride is usually longer. If I were to walk, (which i've never attempted) it would take about an hour. And the public transportation system here is awful. the buses are usually off time, and come every 20 or more minutes. And not to mention the crime. And it's really dirty here and theres a lot of pollution. I think those are some of the major reasons that I don't like living here.

Haha, you've obviously haven't heard about British transport. It's terrible as well, especially the trains >.< I can walk to school, I'm lucky but if I want to go into town it's a 20 minute bus ride, or an hour walk >.<
