Wassup y'all. I'm Hypes, a.k.a Rick Butler, and I found this place thanks to...hold on...looking up her Dev ID...Agent~R. So here I am, and um, I guess I should start spilling the beans. Um, I'm big into anime, gaming, the usual, I'm a SEGA fanboy, I'm currently on www.vileheadquarters.com as a member of Carmen Sandiego's gang, and um I'm 20, attending VCU for the first time as a tranfer (first time away from home) and bla bla bla, Final Fantasy wise, I've played 1,2,4,5 on the PSX, 6 on the SNES, 7,tactics,8,9,10,10-2. I do NOT like Advent Children (not that much anyway) and feel that Dirge of Cereberus is devil May cry with Vincent. I am saddened by the mass release of games for 13, and I blame 10-2 for all these unnessisary sequels. My fav FF is (surpisingly) 7, followed by 9 and the rest. ...Freya owns!... Oh, and I heard they're remaking 6 for the PSP, and I mean completely remaking it like Mediavision did for Wild ARMS. (Though Alter Code F rocked, but MEdia.vision didt fug up on something like Advent Children!) Why mess with the classics! (money)

... I cant remember how I heard it... prolly from a friend... but they've been saying how they'd redo 7 for the xbox and nothing happened, so we're all prolly still good... we hopes

I've never heard about FFVI for the PSP... and why would they make if for PSP? Why not PS2?? I don't like handhelds... and don't own a PSP ^^;; I'll have to look into that more.
Hmm... FFVII for the xBox?? Maybe your friend heard wrong, because I highly doubt that. I mean, it makes no sense when you think about. One of the biggest factor being that yhey've never really relased a game for anything other than a Sony or Nintendo product.
I heard on X-Play that Square was only considering a FFVII re-make.... But I saw it... and I almost cried. But I do agree with you that classics should remain the way they are... but it's always fun to see them re-done.
Sorry if I sounded a little harsh... didn't exactly wake up on the right side of the bed this morning, litterally ^^;; My upper arms have been so sore all day I can hardly move them ><

There's supposed to be FFIII coming out for the DS as well. Sadly I will probably buy it >.<

I want to see 9 remade.. just to see it in smoother, sexier graphics. Though I love the game dearly as it is <3 I think it'd be fun to see the changes they would make though. (if any change at all)

I think 9 is too recent of a game to be properly remade. Rereleased maybe.

It would be cool to hear some of the characters with voices. I wonder what Vivi sounds like! I wonder what Zidane sounds like.
Well, I find out about Vivi when KH2 comes out probably but with Zidane we're doomed never to discover what he sounds like >.<

I like KH, the ending was just a bit sad. It's annoying on DA because loads of people are doing fanart for it and not putting spoiler tags on so I pretty much know what happens.

Kitty says that vivi has a little 3 year old girl voice -_-;;; And a VERY demented laugh. I'd still like to see it~ Even if it is never gonna happen... anytime soon. I always imagined Zidane with this smooth surfer like talk... I have no idea why either. But my friends look at me wierd when I say "Zidane's voice is hot.. I gotta play some more!  " |

I heard they were remaking VI for GBA, not for the PSP. I can't wait! FFVI IS MY FAV GAME!!! *Squee* I only hope they do a good job >.<
I think they should remake ALL of the FFs (from 9 down) to look more 10-ish. I wanna see mah smexxy Locke all smex-fied D:
